Horse & Buggy Stolen

Horse & Buggy Stolen
November 1, 1889
pg. 3

Some unknown person stole Mr. J. O. Everett’s horse and buggy on Friday night last, Mr. Everett drove in town and tied his horse to a rack on Water street, and on going back he found that his horse was gone. After searching the town over in vain, he gave up and hired a horse to go home. On Saturday afternoon he found his horse and buggy in the woods, near his home. The buggy was badly broken and the horse is in a pitiful condition. If the guilty parties are ever caught they should be dealt with by the law in the most sever manner.
