Welcome to my blog for the index I’m working on for the Roanoke Beacon newspaper of Plymouth, North Carolina. I am SELECTIVELY indexing the paper for items of genealogical import as my maternal grandmother is from Washington County and there is apparently no such index to the publication available. I have started this blog to have a place to post items of curiosity, interest, etc that I come across as I go through the newspaper. I thought it just might be a fun way to share with more people than just my mom
